The platform for logistics Delhivery has announced its investment in Falcon Autotech, a developer of logistics automation systems. However, the amount spent in Falcon Autotech by Delhivery has not been disclosed.
Delhivery expects to collaborate with Falcon Autotech to build and deploy innovative automation solutions for transportation and warehousing operations as a result of this relationship. According to a press release, “this news is in line with Delhivery’s stated objective of ongoing investments in future-ready hardware solutions in its operations.”
The hardware automation solutions and Delhivery’s SaaS platform will be bundled as part of this agreement. Delhivery’s SaaS platform is one of the company’s anticipated national and worldwide growth areas.
“Our partnership with Falcon Autotech increases our ability to achieve higher speed, precision, and efficiency across our business lines,” said Ajith Pai, CEO of Delhivery.
As of June 2021, the logistics platform, which includes Spoton, had 20 automated sortation centres, 124 gateways, and 83 fulfilment centres spread across India. Express package transportation, PTL, TL freight, cross-border, supply chain, and technological services are among the services offered by the organisation.
“We are ecstatic to welcome Delhivery as a Falcon partner. Falcon Autotech CEO Naman Jain said, “This investment is a testament to Falcon’s dedication to our customers, our design, technology, and delivery capabilities, and the product roadmap ahead.”
