After his son Aryan Khan was detained in a drugs-on-crime case on Sunday, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale ordered Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan to send him to a rehabilitation center.
“Taking drugs at a young age is not a smart idea. Aryan Khan has a bright future ahead of him. I suggest Shah Rukh Khan send Aryan Khan to a ministry-affiliated de-addiction therapy center. Instead of keeping him in jail, he should be there for 1-2 months. There are numerous similar centers located throughout the country. He will be free of drug addiction in 1-2 months “quoted the Union Minister. He further stated that, according to his ministry, a new law should be drafted in which the accused should not be imprisoned.
Athawale also praised Sameer Wankhede, the Zonal Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), for his probe into the cruise drugs case, saying, “The court has received a bail petition at least 5-6 times, but each time it has been denied. This demonstrates that NCB has complete approval, therefore it is incorrect to claim that his arrest was illegal “he stated
