Ducati, the Italian superbike manufacturer, announced on Monday that it will launch 11 new motorcycles in India this year. All-new models such as the Scrambler 800 Urban Motard, Multistrada V2, Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, Streetfighter V4 SP, MY22 Panigale V4, and the X would be released.
“We promised to debut 15 new models at the start of 2021, and despite the challenging year for the auto sector, we managed to meet that promise, and now Ducati’s BSVI range is complete in India,” stated Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India.
Globally, the third quarter of 2021 was the best in Ducati’s history, with a 3 percent increase over the same period in 2020 and a 25% increase over 2019, he noted.
The Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro will be released in the first quarter of 2022, followed by the Panigale V2 Bayliss Edition, which will have a livery inspired by the 996R, according to the firm.
Following that, the Multistrada V2, which has been redesigned with an emphasis on ergonomics, weight reduction, and engine improvements, will arrive in India, followed by the all-new Scrambler 800 Urban Motard, according to the company.
The all-new Streetfighter V4 SP, the new Panigale V4 trim, and the all-new Streetfighter V2 will be introduced in the second quarter, according to Ducati.
The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, the fastest Multistrada ever, and the XDiavel Poltrona Frau, created in conjunction with the luxury Italian furniture brand, will be at the top of the list, according to the company.
The business added that a new version of the Panigale V4SP and the all-new Ducati DesertX, the first Ducati motorcycle in modern history to utilize a 21-inch front wheel, would be released in the latter half 2022.
